Welcome to Parkinson Canada Funding Programs
Parkinson Canada is the definitive voice of Canadians living with Parkinson’s disease. From diagnosis to discovery, Parkinson Canada provides education and services to support people with Parkinson’s, their families, and healthcare teams, along with supporting promising researchers as they discover new ways to understand and diagnose Parkinson’s disease, new treatments, and ways to improve quality of life for people impacted by Parkinson’s.
We are committed to supporting the Parkinson's community through funding for research and community programing.
The Parkinson Canada Research Program:
Funds research into the cure, cause, progression, improved treatment and/or understanding of Parkinson's disease, related disorders including Multiple System Atrophy(MSA), progressive Supranuclear Palsy(PSP), other Parkinson's conditions and the impact these diseases have on society.
The Parkinson CARE Fund:
Looks for innovative and impactful programs that focus on wellness, education, and mental health to empower individuals and their care partners. Parkinson Canada aims to support programs that are scalable, sustainable, and measurable that address unmet needs in the local community. By acknowledging the multifaceted challenges faced by this community, we are committed to supporting programs to better the lives of those living with Parkinson's disease and those providing care for them through grant opportunities.
Funding opportunities can be found under both the Research and the CARE fund tab located at the top of the page.
